I am the rain

I am the rain, pitter, pattering on a window. Some like me, other's don't care for me, many sing for me to go away. Some like to sing and dance as the rain falls on their faces and splash in the puddles that I have created. Others turn away, avoiding the outside and grumble while locking their doors tight so that I can't come in.
Hey there,

So, I've never had a blog before so I thought I would write a little something here to say something about myself.

I don't know how good I am, or who will read this, but thing about being a writer is that you don't necessarily have to be good, you just need to have a passion for writing and let the words write themselves.

I feel like this blog is going to be a lot of me expressing myself but I also want to write things that are enjoyable to you, the reader.

There will be many things, like all sorts of poems, random short stories about prompts I have received or little excerpts from books I have been working on. I do a lot to just goof around, but I'm excited to produce something that someone might like.

Don't mind my randomness,

I set my foot down onto the next bored, careful not to scrape my barefoot against the wood. I followed the steps until my feet reached the sand. I looked out at the ocean, beckoning me to join it's waters. The waters were calm, softly crashing against the shore; it was too early for the beach to be disrupted. I let the morning wind sift through my hair and dress. I threw out my arms and let myself feel free, if, for a only a few moments. The sun peaked over the ocean like a reverse sunset, sending a bright yellow, pink, blue color shimmering against what appeared to be glass reflecting the world. I enjoyed this moment, it was what I craved before having to go back to that seemingly endless road we call life.
                 I am a leaf
I am a leaf, fallen from the tree, separated from others. I signify the end of summer and the beginning of fall. I become brown and crumpled and dead. I am crunched under the boots of people walking by, dissatisfied by the seasons change. More leafs get fall and I get buried, suffocated. I get raked up into a pile where I am used for entertainment. Children land and I disperse, floating, falling, into somewhere new, just to start the whole process over again.
Until one day, someone picks me up, admiring my colors,
And deems me beautiful.

Sleeping
My head rests on a pillow
       Fluffy, white and comfy
My bones relax and sink into the bed
As I pull the blanket over my head
I shut my eyes and float on a cloud of bliss

Secrets
       Secrets are all around
       Just floating in the air
       Buzzing in our ears
       And tangled in our hair
The things we keep to ourselves
And the others we choose to share
       Harm or save others
       Thinking without care

Autumn
My favorite time of the year
When leaves fall and change color
When the weather isn't too hot or too cold
       Autumn

I
I sit in silence
pondering my thoughts
I am alone and I hate the feeling
I want to change but the others won't let me

II
I still sit in silence
my thoughts overcrowding my mind
I'm still alone but I'm used to the feeling
I want to change, but it's okay if I don't
the other's wont care

III
The silence is now my best friend
My thoughts are being taken over
Loneliness is my cloak, my feelings don't matter
There's no longer change, that's how it is
The others ignore me

IV
My silence is interrupted
My thoughts are becoming few
Someone has taken my cloak and changed my feelings
I'm starting to change and it's scary
The others notice

V
There is no longer silence
My thoughts are different
I am not alone and I love the feeling
I have changed and the others beckon me
