10/5/16
I set my foot down onto the next bored, careful not to scrape my barefoot against the wood. I followed the steps until my feet reached the sand. I looked out at the ocean, beckoning me to join it's waters. The waters were calm, softly crashing against the shore; it was too early for the beach to be disrupted. I let the morning wind sift through my hair and dress. I threw out my arms and let myself feel free, if, for a only a few moments. The sun peaked over the ocean like a reverse sunset, sending a bright yellow, pink, blue color shimmering against what appeared to be glass reflecting the world. I enjoyed this moment, it was what I craved before having to go back to that seemingly endless road we call life.
